For Clients of Our Paid Service: Terms of Service
By registering for our service, you accept these Terms of Service, which were last updated November 15, 2025 and may change anytime with notice.
- Scope of Service: Route Vouch provides a service intended to improve third-party acceptance of a financial institution’s routing number.
- Portal: Within 5 business days of your registration, Route Vouch will complete its initial setup and make its service available to you through a secure client portal. Portal users must be employees within your organization. Users are solely responsible for activity that occurs while logged in and must not share account access. You must notify us immediately of any breach of security or unauthorized use.
- Report Form: Route Vouch will provide a web form for your customers to report routing number recognition issues. You may link to this form on your website and encourage your frontline staff to share it directly with affected customers.
- Investigation: Route Vouch will monitor form submissions and investigate reported issues. This involves contacting third-party institutions, processors, or data providers on your behalf to request the missing routing number be added to their databases. Resolution times will vary based on the responsiveness of third-party action. Open cases will be carefully monitored with regular follow up until we receive confirmation that the issue has been resolved. Notes and status updates will be provided for you in the secure client portal.
- Communication: Route Vouch will communicate with affected customers via email to provide updates on any routing number issue they’ve reported. This may include suggesting workarounds until the issue is fixed, providing supportive documentation for manual verification, or other measures to maintain your customer’s satisfaction.
- Exclusions: Route Vouch will only help with issues that pertain to routing number acceptance by consumer-facing ACH systems and are reported with sufficient information to investigate. Integration projects, data aggregation issues, check acceptance, and general banking support for consumers are out of scope.
- Unlimited: Route Vouch will provide an “unlimited” service, without any hard cap on the number of reports received through our web form, issues investigated, resolutions, portal users, or hours worked. However, extreme usage that vastly exceeds typical usage among our other clients may be subject to revised pricing at Route Vouch’s discretion and with advance notice to you.
- Support: Route Vouch will assign a dedicated account manager for your questions. Support is provided via email, and you can typically expect a reply within 1 business day.
- Service Level Agreement: We will use reasonable efforts to maintain a service uptime of 100%. If you are unable to access our secure client portal due to a system outage or critical bug, or if your customers are unable to report routing number issues through our provided web form, then you may claim a credit toward your next renewal period ((Outage Time ÷ Service Period Length) × Subscription Cost) as sole remedy. You must promptly report any system issues you encounter to Route Vouch, and we will provide status updates until resolution.
- Registration: To register for our service, you must provide accurate and complete information. You are acting on behalf of a financial institution to become a client of Route Vouch, and you warrant that you have sufficient authority to enter into this agreement. You consent to the use of electronic signatures and understand that checking an attestation box at registration will generate your electronic signature with the same legal effect as a handwritten signature.
- Payment: You agree to pay the recurring cost of your subscription when we present an invoice at the start of each service period (recurring cost and length of service period are indicated at registration but may later be changed in writing). Route Vouch accepts payment by ACH or wire transfer. You are solely responsible for ensuring correct, complete, and timely payment to the receiving account specified on our invoices. Overdue payments may incur a late fee of up to 10%. All of your payment obligations are non-cancellable, and fees paid by you are non-refundable.
- Termination: You or Route Vouch may cancel your subscription anytime for any reason by providing written notice. However, you may not cancel within the first year of your subscription. Cancellations are effective immediately, and any fees you’ve paid or owed prior to the cancellation are non-refundable (unless the cancellation was initiated by Route Vouch, in which it is in our sole discretion to offer a partial refund). Upon cancellation of service, all provisions of these Terms of Service which by their nature should survive termination (including provisions regarding licensing, indemnity, and limitations of liability) shall survive termination.
- Your License: We grant you permission (a temporary, limited, nonexclusive, non-transferable, worldwide license) to use whatever materials we provide, including our secure client portal. We can revoke this permission anytime for any reason. Anything we license to you as part of our service (including our software, documentation, and other information) remains our exclusive property, which you may not duplicate or share. We may occasionally ask for feedback, and you give us permission to implement your suggestions.
- Our License: You grant Route Vouch permission (a temporary, limited, nonexclusive, non-transferable, worldwide license) to use your logos and identify as your partner/affiliate for marketing purposes and within the course of conducting our service.
- No Liability: We work hard to meet your needs and exceed your expectations, but our service is provided “AS IS” and without warranty. Route Vouch shall not be liable to you for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages (including without limitation damages from harm to business, lost revenues, loss of use, injury, damages to property, reputational harm, or third-party claims), even if advised of their possibility. In no event shall the aggregate liability of Route Vouch for all claims arising under or relating to this agreement exceed the total fees paid by you during the first service period.
- Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold Route Vouch and its agents harmless from any claims arising out of or in connection with your use of our service. Route Vouch is not involved in any agreements between you and any third party, including your customers. As such, you release Route Vouch and its agents from any and all claims arising out of or in any way connected with the foregoing.
- Compliance: You are responsible for the compliance of your employees, agents, and subcontractors with these Terms of Service. You are solely responsible for any of your obligations under applicable laws, rules, or regulations. If you become aware of any compliance issues or violations of applicable law in connection with our service, you must immediately notify us.
- Confidentiality: You and Route Vouch agree to keep confidential and not disclose any nonpublic information obtained in connection with our service, except as required to perform the service or comply with law.
- Governing Law: This agreement and any disputes shall be governed solely in accordance with the laws of the state of New Hampshire and the United States of America.
